Soothing for the mind and body. Skin blend: 2 drops per 10ml of blending oil for the face, 5 drops per 10ml for the body. Helpful for oily skin. Not recommended for use on sensitive skin. In the bath: 4-6 drops per 20ml of blending oil. Add to bath water and swirl to disperse.

Tisserand never lets me down. Their products may be more expensive, but they're also more potent and longer lasting, meaning you need far less to achieve the same result as with cheaper essential oils. Their grapefruit oil is no exception; 3 drops in 30ml carrier oil, or with 150ml water in a diffuser, is all you need. Furthermore, I've only been using this for four days and I'm happy to report that so far it's working for me—it's meant to help with weight loss and reducing water retention, and I've dropped 1lb since using it, despite doing nothing else different. However, I expect that this is indeed a decrease in water retention, rather than fat; if essential oils could melt the fat off you, the diet industry would be all over them by now. It's no substitute for a healthy diet and exercise, but if you want to get rid of some water bloat, it's excellent.

I've bought this to use in an InnoGear diffuser. Adding four drops of this to the water container produces a subtle scent of watermelon into the air, without it being overpowering. I'm definitely looking forward to trying other oils from the Tisserand range and in this case, I think it's worth paying for the better quality oils.

Apart from many other beneficial qualities, grapefruit oil is antiseptic and, as such, is a good oil to use in homemade cleaning products. I mixed this with distilled water, vodka and Tisserand Eucalyptus Organic Essential Oil to make a disinfecting kitchen cleaner which worked well and smelled delicious. 5 Stars.

Never used grapefruit oil before. Ordered after I read about it's uplifting property. One has to be a bit careful when using certain medication like high blood pressure or antidepressants. The product is of high standard. I will use it in my diffuser. Will also use it for household cleaning.
